1 · The spine

Premise, the planned books and each one's job, the series promise, and — the discipline nobody wants — how it ends.

2 · Characters

One short block per recurring character: the physical facts that contradict, age math (not just ages), voice, who-knows-what-and-when, and status by end of each book.

3 · Places

What it is, where it sits relative to everything else in travel time, and the physical facts you've put on the page.

4 · Systems

Magic, tech, politics — what it costs, the rules you established on purpose, the rules you established by accident in a line of dialogue, and what the system must never do.

5 · Timeline

Everything anchored to one zero point instead of chained to the previous scene, plus a season tracker per book.

6 · Open contradictions

The most useful page in the bible: log the conflict mid-draft, keep writing, resolve on the next pass.
