From draft to KDP-ready files, in one studio.
Most writing tools punt at the export step. Scribegrove's Publishing Studio produces validated EPUB 3.3, ONIX 3.0 metadata, and a KDP-ready interior PDF — plus step-by-step submission wizards for KDP, Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and Kobo. We never automate against publisher portals. You stay in control of your account, your categories, your keywords, your royalties.

What this tool does for you specifically.
Validated EPUB 3.3 + ONIX 3.0
Every export passes W3C EPUBCheck before download. ONIX 3.0 metadata is bundled (Amazon's ONIX 2.1 sunset is March 2026 — Scribegrove is already ready). No more wrestling with Calibre + a metadata editor + a validator just to get a clean file.
EU Accessibility Act 2025 compliant by default
The June 2025 EU Accessibility Act mandates Schema.org accessibility features in your ONIX metadata. We ship those by default — alternative text, reading order, accessibility summary. No extra checkbox to remember, no compliance gotcha six months in.
Submission wizards, not API automation
Step-by-step wizards walk you through KDP, Draft2Digital, IngramSpark, Apple Books, and Kobo submission flows. We never log into publisher portals on your behalf — your account stays yours, your royalties stay yours, and TOS violations stay impossible. We're a tool, not an agent.
Royalties stay 100% yours
Publishing Studio is a one-time tool, not an ongoing cut. We don't take a percentage of your book sales, we don't get paid when you do, we have no business relationship with the retailers. Whatever Amazon / IngramSpark pays you is what you keep.
Same tiers as everyone else. Same money-back guarantee.
Genre-specific landings page; same product. Pick the tier that fits how heavy your cloud usage is — the underlying studio is identical.

What indie publishers usually ask first.
Will Scribegrove submit my book to KDP for me?
No, and we never will. Submission wizards walk you through every step of KDP / D2D / IngramSpark / Apple / Kobo intake — what to fill in, what to upload, what to double-check — but the actual clicks happen on your KDP dashboard, in your browser, under your account. We never automate against publisher portals because TOS violations there can cost you your KDP account. You stay in control.
Is the EPUB really KDP-ready?
Yes. Every export is validated against W3C EPUBCheck before you download it. We test against KDP's specific intake requirements (cover dimensions, metadata fields, table of contents structure) and the wizard flags any missing pieces before you submit. If KDP rejects an export from us, that's a bug — file it through the Feedback link in the footer and we'll fix it.
What about Amazon's ONIX 2.1 sunset?
Amazon is moving from ONIX 2.1 to ONIX 3.0 in March 2026. Scribegrove already produces ONIX 3.0 by default — your exports will work past the cutoff without any change on your part. If you've been using a tool that still produces ONIX 2.1, you'll need to migrate before March 2026; Scribegrove is the migration.
Do I get accessibility metadata for the EU Accessibility Act?
Yes, by default. The June 2025 EU Accessibility Act requires Schema.org accessibility features (alternative text, reading order, accessibility summary, hazard information) in book metadata. Every Scribegrove export includes these — you don't have to remember a checkbox. KDP submissions to EU markets, IngramSpark distribution, anywhere your book is sold in the EU after June 2025: covered.
What about wide distribution via IngramSpark?
IngramSpark intake is one of the supported wizards. It walks you through trim size, paper stock, BISAC categories, regional pricing, and metadata variants. We produce a print-ready PDF that meets IngramSpark's spec (bleed, margins, embedded fonts) and validated EPUB 3.3 for ebook distribution. Same flow for D2D's wide-channel program.
Which tier includes Publishing Studio?
Publishing Studio is included with Author Studio Max ($49.99 / month) — that's the everything-in-one tier. On Author Studio ($19.99) and Author Studio Pro ($39.99), Publishing Studio is available as an a-la-carte add-on. For KDP-bound indies who export multiple books a year, Studio Max is the right fit.
How does pricing compare to Vellum?
Vellum is Mac-only, costs $250 (or $200 for ebook-only), and is one-time. Vellum is the best-in-class formatter and we respect it deeply. Scribegrove is a different proposition: drafting + AI editing + series world model + publishing in one tool, in any browser on any platform, subscription. If you only need a formatter and already have a finished manuscript, Vellum is a great answer. If you want the whole drafting-to-export pipeline in one studio, Scribegrove is built for that.
